What are your expectations of a novel you are writing?

I want to tell an exciting story, also three-dimensional characters with whom the reader can identify are important to me. In addition, it is also important to me to discuss a philosophical, more profound topic.

Why a historical novel?

A historical novel gives the opportunity to dive into a completely different world. It requires a lot of research to reproduce the details of the time. But this research is also very fascinating. For example, the study of ancient Egyptian food, embalming or Egyptian hieroglyphs is a challenging task. Especially the everyday life of people is hardly treated in history books.

What is your technique of writing a novel?

First I write a short expose, then a very detailed treatment of about 35 pages, then I start with the novel.

Can the novel be purchased as a printed book?

No. The novel is only available free of charge as an e-book.
